I got a new job!

That’s right! I’m pumped to share with you all that I’ve accepted a position as a Squad Mentor with the World Race and Adventures In Missions. I spent much of this last week packing and moving down to Gainesville, Georgia, where I will be stepping into this new role.

As a mentor, I will be leading and equipping the young adults on our Expedition Teams, who will be leaving to serve and share the Gospel in the 10/40 window, an area of the world where the name of Jesus is largely unknown.

I’m excited for this new season. These last two and a half years with the World Race have been truly incredible. It’s almost hard for me to put into a neat and word efficient blog, just how impactful they have been and how the Lord has worked in that in my life.

I’ve been blessed to step into leadership roles here with the race, and have gotten to be a part of leading and discipling teams while abroad. I know the Lord specifically called me into those places. I can see the ways in which he used those callings to push and refine me; and bring clarity to the direction and manner in which he wanted me to live, and I know and am confident that he is calling me into this new position for this time.

As I step out of Squad Leading and into Squad Mentoring, I get to take another step forward into a new unknown, a new challenge, and a new adventure. I know that it will be hard in many ways but know the Lord will be with me and will move in mighty ways as I go.

What’s sweet too is I get to continue to step further and deeper into this passion for discipleship,  and I get to play a part in bringing the Gospel to the unreached areas and people groups of the world.

So there it is. That’s my news! I’m pumped for this time and all that God is going to do in this next season.

If you would like to hear more about my role or about any of the programs here at Adventures In Missions; if you know anyone interested in participating in the World Race or a Gap Year program, or if you would like to partner with me in what I am doing, I would love to share more. Feel free to contact me. My email is [email protected] and my phone number is 574-354-1467. Shoot me a message or call. I’d love to meet up!

Love you all!
