Hey everyone! So I’m sick. Don’t worry I’m good, nothing big. But as I was sitting here this morning, I decided; the time has come. I NEED TO BLOG. You know it’s been awhile since I have posted and updated you all on my trip, my life, what we are doing, where we are going, and how God is working. I had to look it up, and my last post to you all was April 9th while my team was in China preparing for the wilderness of Mongolia. It’s a shame it took me getting sick to actually sit down and write this; but, here we are. And you might be wondering, where is that exactly? Well right now we are in Beirut, Lebanon, with only a month and a half left on our trip before we head home in mid-November. Crazy right? Yep, a lot has happened since that last post. Our squad has been all over the place and so much has happened. I truly want to catch you all up and get us on the same page so that we can press in an continue this thing strong together. So, here’s where we are at. There’s a lot that I want you all to know and so many different directions I could go with this. I also know that I had a well-intentioned and a maybe somewhat ambitious plan of writing a blog every two weeks after that last post and we see how that went. I know it feels late, but I’m ready to try this again. I want to post more and I want to catch you guys up; so, lets do this together. Below I am going to list out the countries that my team has gone to so far this year. If you are reading this and want to hear about a particular country, let me know! If there is a specific topic you would like me to blog on, send it my way! If you have certain questions you would like to ask or know about, could be anything really, send them on over! You can shoot me a message on facebook or comment on here or write me an email, whatever you prefer! But I’m genuinely sorry that I have not kept you all in the loop and want to bring you all in to the adventure the God is taking me on, and I believe your input will definitely help with that.

Country list:
Japan

Kyrgyzstan

Taiwan

Uzbekistan

Lebanon

Hong Kong

Kazakhstan

China

Azerbaijan

Mongolia

Georgia

Armenia

In the meantime, here’s a quick update:
Currently my squad is in Beirut, Lebanon, working with Horizons International, an organization based out of Colorado that does a lot of work with refugees in the region. We are working in three cities: Beqaa, Tyre/Maarake, and Beirut. We have gotten to meet with families and share the gospel, we’ve done some street evangelism, and worked with kids in area schools. It’s been a great first week and has been so incredible meeting the people of this area and hearing their stories and the things they’ve experienced and been through. God is doing cool things here and I’m excited to share more with you all!

Well hey guys that’s all I got for now! Contact me and let me know what you want to hear about and be on the lookout in the next week for my recap on Mongolia! Talk to you all soon!

  1. So incredible to read!! I love you so much and I love the journey the Lord is taking you on. You are an incredible squad leader and I am so blessed by your insights, stories, encouragement and so much more!! Tell us more about your spiritual journey and what God has taught you the last 7 months!

    Feel better Coach B

  2. So good to hear from you! Thanks for the update. Have you kept a journal or log of all those who you shared the gospel with and have chosen Jesus? Do you feel a connection to a location and people more than another? Why? Does each location group respond the same way to you sharing the gospel? Some open more than another? Were you ever not able to blog information due to safety issues for those in certain locations? Was it ever dangerous for you to show your Bible? So far, those are my questions. ??

  3. Brandon first I would like to say Prayers for your health and safety. You make me Proud if the young man you have grown into and I absolutely love hearing your life experiences and that you and your team have been successful I. Sharing Jesus with others . Blessings and Love to you.

  4. Thanks for sharing. Think about this question: If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? I know the real answer (as far as I am concerned, being a logical thinker), but the point is that you have had this awesome experience and God has done so much. But how do we know you were there, unless you tell us about it?

If I can press this even more… How will anyone hear the Gospel unless some one tells them? I think you get the point. So why not start with telling us what experience has impacted you the most? In what way have you see God use you? Have you made any life-long friends? I would love to hear all your thoughts and I know there is something unique that you have to share that no one else can share quite as effectively.
